BEGINNINGS
My story begins with makeup. When I was young, the Avon lady used to come to my mother’s house to drop off catalogs and samples of makeup. I saved the samples and began recruiting neighbors and friends who would let me do their makeup. I was obsessed. I enrolled in Cosmetology School and began my career at a salon focusing on hair in the 70s. I've learned and experimented throughout the eras of foil highlighting, acrylic nails, and perms. SPECIALTIES I love to cut hair and strongly about educating my clients about proper haircare and maintenance!
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Licensed in Cosmetology since 1978 Vidal Sassoon Academy National Educator (3 yrs) 30+ years experience INTERESTS I am big into fitness! I'm a certified personal trainer and was recently certified as a Yoga 200-hour instructor. I love baking, cooking, and am also a vegetarian. I am also have a FCC Amateur Radio license-AC9KF and have fun operating my Icom 7410 from my home, making contacts with other Amateur Radio operators all over the world. |
